Kelpies Experience

Saturday 22nd March
Helix Park, Falkirk

Join us for a one-of-a-kind aerial adventure at the brand-new Kelpies Experience and help us make a difference to the 1 in 5 people living in Scotland affected by a chest, heart, or stroke condition by raising vital funds.

Get ready for an exclusive aerial journey high within the head of one of these iconic horse sculptures. Once harnessed up, you’ll embark on a thrilling 1.5 hour adventure to the horse’s mouth, climbing up through a maze of ladders, suspended platforms, and cable crossings. Then, feel the adrenaline surge as you descend back to earth with either a free-hanging abseil or the breath taking Quick Flight rope drop.

📌 Participation requirements:

Be a fundraising superhero

By signing up to take part in the Kelpies Experience you’re doing something amazing.

We would ask you to promise to raise at least £250 in sponsorship.

Every penny you raise will go towards helping someone in Scotland do more than survive when they return home from hospital with a chest, heart or stroke condition – you’ll help them really live.

You’ll be helping people like Nancy. Nancy is a wife and a mother, and stroke has hit her family twice.

“Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland were there for me and helped me find my way back to the person I was before the stroke.”

After supporting her husband Kevin to recover from a life-changing stroke, little did Nancy think she would have to fight her own battle just three years later.

“Stroke took away my voice and my love of reading and writing. I could never have imagined suddenly losing the ability to read or write. And when it happened to me, I felt so lost.

“When I got home from hospital, I didn’t know where to turn. I couldn’t speak properly, and my biggest fear was that I would never be able to get the words out again.

“Then I got a call from Hazel at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. That call was a lifeline.

“I joined Hazel’s online support group and she introduced me to a volunteer called Sam who has been amazing.

“Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland were there for me and helped me find my way back to the person I was before the stroke.”

By fundraising at the Kelpies Experience, you’ll be helping to fund our vital support services so more stroke survivors like Nancy can get the help they desperately need to live their lives to the full.

So, it’s time to get your superhero fundraising cape on!
