Isle of Arran
Sold Out
Join us for a breath-taking 57-mile cycle round the Isle of Arran – Saturday 30 September
Take in the sights on one of Scotland’s most beautiful and accessible islands as you cycle 57 miles clockwise around Arran – you’d be hard pushed to ride a more perfect loop!
Whether you’re a cycling pro or you enjoy a scenic bike ride, this event is suitable for cyclists of all levels, we would just recommend a few weeks training to tackle some of the more challenging hills.
It’s not a race so we encourage you to have fun, take photos of the scenery and enjoy the ride – there will be plenty of stops for snacks and photos along the way.
So, if you have a sense of adventure, join team CHSS for a fantastic day of cycling on Arran, all while raising vital funds to help make sure people with chest, heart and stroke conditions get the support they need to live life to the full!
The route allows you to make the most of the spectacular views as you pedal your way around the island.
You’ll be following the coast most of the way round so there will be beautiful views of the sea on one side and mountain views on the other. On a clear day, there are views over the islands of Bute and Cumbrae, to the southwest is Ireland beyond the tip of the Mull of Kintyre and around the south and east you’ll see views past Ailsa Craig to the Ayrshire coast, Troon and beyond into the Galloway hills.

We’re asking all our fundraising heroes to promise to raise at least £250 in sponsorship. We will provide all the support you need to help you meet and beat your fundraising goal.
Every penny you raise will go towards helping someone in Scotland rebuild their life and get back to doing the things that matter to them when they return home from hospital with a chest, heart or stroke condition.
