Glaswegian Travel Agent Soars to New Heights for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland

A Glasgow travel agent has flown to new heights after raising more than £1,000 for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

Eight members of Clyde Travel Management took part in the Kiltwalk last month to raise money for CHSS, their chosen charity partner.

A spokesperson for Clyde Travel Management said: “We were taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk for CHSS as one of our colleagues had a stroke and another colleague’s brother had a stroke and CHSS supported him after it.

The walk was fantastic but the cramps in the legs a week later were not! But it was all worth it in the end to raise money for a great cause.”

Clyde Travel Management provides end-to-end travel management services,  business travel management for corporate companies, and crew mobilisations for the marine, offshore and renewable sectors.

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is Scotland’s largest health charity supporting the 1 in 5 people across Scotland living with chest, heart and stroke conditions and Long Covid.  The charity is committed to reaching 175,000 people living with its conditions across Scotland a year by 2028 through its Community Healthcare Support Services.

Louise MacLeod, Community, Events and Corporate Fundraiser at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland said: “On behalf of everyone at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland we want to say a huge thank you to the team at Clyde Travel Management for their fundraising efforts.

“The funds raised will help us to support the 1 in 5 people across the country who are living with chest, heart and stroke conditions and Long Covid to live their lives to the full.”
