An NHS manager meets with patients to express their views at a Hearty Voices day

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland are committed to sharing the tools and techniques used in the Voices Scotland programme.

The model for a mutual MCN

The Voices Scotland team has worked with MCNs across Scotland in respiratory, cardiac, stroke and paediatric services. This has allowed the team to observe various approaches to an MCNs public involvement.

The following models have been developed to assist managers to develop their structure within the network to maximise the opportunities to involve the public.

These models can be applied to other NHS bodies seeking to embed public involvement into their structure.

  • Pathway to a mutual Managed Clinical Network
  • The mutual Managed Clinical Network
